Rv Ceiling Carpet Stain

I ve dealt with my fair share of carpet but this is the first rv i have renovated with a carpeted ceiling.

We especially hate carpet on the ceiling and whatever the manufacturer wants to call it to us it is thin fuzzy carpet on the ceiling. This works and is amazing. Cleaning stain from a rv cloth ceiling. The problem is carpet doesn t wear well especially when exposed to the kind of abuse an rv gets over time.

While the stain does not cause any harm it is unsightly. Bought an oil based primer and it took me 4 hours to thoroughly cover 4 sq ft of this stuff. The fabric ceilings when they get moisture pull the coloring from the wood backing to the fabric and leave water rings.

There are stains from water damage rain mud food pets and let s not forget to mention kids. Let it sit there overnight. Once the leak has been sealed and the ceiling and or drapes are dry spray some woolite oxydeep for carpet and upholstery on the ceiling and curtain stains. At first i though i will paint it.

In most cases this will eliminate the stains. Sometimes you don t notice a water leak until you see a stain ring on the edge of your ceiling. If the stains are not gone repeat the process. In the morning vacuum off the residue.

Cannot stand having anything that i cannot sanitize.
